Liz is currently working on her first contemporary fiction novel. Here's a quick summary:

Things have always come easy to Skyler. She has a successful career, a loving fiance, an amazing best friend, and a beautiful home by the lake in Jameson Heights. But it all threatens to come crashing down when she meets Gabriel, a small town musician with a questionable past who came from nothing and finds himself quickly rising to fame. They're both living versions of the American Dream, so why don't they feel fulfilled?

This debut novel chronicles Skyler's journey to create her own happiness amidst all of life's modern complexities. Will she choose the path society wants her to take or will she risk everything to create a path of her own?
